Description
The Citaro series is the latest bus development by Daimler-Benz. It comes in a variety of versions, including articulated buses powered by compressed natural gas (hence CNG) instead of diesel oil. The gas is stored in cylinders on the roof.
This is a very modern city bus, offering high capacity and low floor design for good accessibility.

The photos were kindly provided by Olaf Nordsieck, the webmaster of www.olafs-fotoseite.de, a website with some great photos of busses and trucks. Note however that these photos only show the standard articulated Citaro, not a CNG-powered one. Information on the CNG-powered version can be found on the official Mercedes-Benz homepage (beware, it's the German website).
