Description
There are inner city lines where even articulated buses do not offer enough capacity. Some special designs have been developed to solve this problem, like buses with two articulated trailers. Daimler-Benz tries a different way with this study presented in 2005. The trailer features a double axis and is longer than standard ones, so the whole bus is about two meters longer than common designs - and longer than regulations permit, so a special permission had to be granted to allow operation. This has happened in 2006, series production started in 2007.
This is the latest bus in the set, depicting the development in the early 21st century. Since there should be quite some big cities in the game at that point, this type is quite useful for inner city transportation.
