Description
The mountainous lines in Silesia were very important for freight traffic and were therefore electrified already during World War I. During these upgrades, this EMU also was put into service.
The units ran local services until February 1945, before being evacuated to West Germany, as the front lines moved closer. After the war three units ended up in Nuremberg where they continued to run local services until being scrapped in the late 1950s.
This is the first EMU to be available in the set, and as such it is pretty much without any competition. If you have electrified lines early on that allows using this type for passenger traffic, it is an obvious choice.

The Verein Schlesische Gebirgsbahnen, a railway modelling club depicting the traffic on the electric network in Silesia in the 1930ies, has a page on the ET-87. The pages are entirely in German, but the photos should speak for themselves.
The original livery from the 1920s is green.
In the 1930s, the EMUs are colored in red-cream.
The last livery in the 1950s is red.
