Description
For a new Volkswagen production plant in Dresden, the so-called transparent factory, material delivery is done with a cargo tram to avoid clogging the city center with trucks. To do that, a completely new type of tram was developed. Since 2001, it runs on an hourly schedule to deliver the factory.
