In real life
The Rheingold train was re-established in the early 1960s, running the same line as the pre-war version. New rolling stock was introduced, including special dining and dome cars (link into German wikipedia!), as well as a specific livery reminiscent of the pre-war Rheingold trains. By 1965 the livery was already gone, as the service had been included in the new TEE network, requiring a change of liveries. Still, the dining cars and dome cars were kept in service for the TEE version as well, providing a special experience when running along the Rhine river banks.

DBSetXL includes this train with the specific livery as well as the dining and observation coaches. The train is refitted automatically when buying a class E10 in the given time frame and adding long-distance coaches. When having at least six coaches, the dining car is added automatically, with nine coaches the dome car is added. These coaches have custom characteristics compared to the generic long-distance coaches - see this table. For the normal coaches only the color is different.
The screenshot shows a class E10 with a Rheingold train. The third car is the dining car, the fifth one is the observation car. The train itself can be made up of an arbitrary number of coaches.
