Description
These double-deck busses were specifically developed for transportation in Berlin. NAG and Büssing delivered the frames, the bodywork was added by other companies. In 1931, Büssing and NAG merged and became Büssing-NAG. Production of this bus type continued until the late 1930s. Two models of this type are preserved.
This type is the first dedicated city bus. Being a double-deck design, it offers a much higher capacity, while the top speed remains rather low, which is not much of a problem in a city.
