Description
In 1925 Benz presented the first bus with specialized low frame to provide easier entry. The 2CN was offered in two versions (a and b) with different chassis lengths and different engines. This model proved to be a milestone in bus development and influenced design principles for decades to come.
This model is a step forward from the earlier models and is the first real bus, in contrast to any earlier models which were mainly a truck frame with passenger transportation bodywork. It can be used for almost any kind of passenger transport, but most preferably on regional routes, though it also works for inner city lines, as no specialized vehicles for that kind of transport are available that early in the game.
